Who is this service for?
This service is for anyone who employs a Personal Assistant (PA) / Carer directly and would prefer a Third Party to deal with the legal obligations of being an employer i.e. registering both you and your PA / Carer with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC); dealing with the calculations for tax and National Insurance contributions together with Pension Auto Enrolment on your behalf.
How does it work?
With this service, you are responsible for making the actual payments to HRMC; your PA / Carer etc. based on the Payroll Information Summary sheet sent to you.
We will carry out all actions required to ensure your payroll calculations are accurate and sent to you in a timely manner so you can pay your Personal Assistant (PA) / Carer on time. We will calculate your PA’s / Carer’s holiday entitlement; provide you with payslips and deal with submitting your end of year returns.
